The Student Health & Counseling Services continues to offer free and low-cost services to students during the summer. Please review the eligibility, appointments, and hours information on how you can access both in-person and telehealth services at the CSUEB SHCS this summer starting May 26, 2026.

Eligibility

Students Enrolled in Summer Class(es)

If you are enrolled in one or more summer classes, you have already paid the Student Health Fee and have access to our summer services.

CSUEB Students Continuing in the Fall semester

If you are continuing your studies in Fall 2026 and you are not enrolled in the summer semester, you may continue to access healthcare services at $10.00 per visit; not to exceed $138.00 out-of-pocket for the summer.  If additional visits are needed, you will not be charged. 

CSUEB Graduating Students

You may continue to utilize healthcare services at $10.00 per visit to help transition your care through the end of the semester; not to exceed $138.00 out-of-pocket for the summer.

You can schedule appointments for Medical or Counseling services by coming in person to our front desk during office hours, by logging in to MyPioneerHealth, or by calling us at 510-885-3735.  Both telehealth (video via Zoom) and in-persons appointments are available.

In a medical or psychiatric emergency, please call 9-1-1, or go to the nearest emergency room.

Student Health & Counseling Services is a fully accredited by  outpatient clinic staffed by Board Certified Physicians, and licensed Nurse Practitioners, Medical Staff, and Counselors. Student Health & Counseling Services offers basic medical care for most illnesses and injuries and various elective services.
